Bedding

We ordered bedding for the little boy's room last week. It arrived on Friday, and I love it even more in person than I did online. I originally found it at JC Pennys, but was able to find it at Babies R Us for $30 cheaper. I wasn't a big fan of themed bedding, I just wanted something simple and modern. Also, I knew we would paint the baby's room a shade of blue, so I wanted bedding that wasn't all blue. Side note: Baby Boy Becker will not be named "Luke".

The set came with a sheet, bumper, skirt, and quilt. I would still like to get an extra sheet or two and a mattress pad.

I had a extra lamp without a lamp shade, so I decided to get a little creative. I bought just a plain cream colored lamp shade and decorated it with ribbons and buttons from Joanne Fabrics. The ribbons I used were brown with white polka dots, a brown and white plaid, and a blue. Then I also used little wooden buttons. It turned out really cute, and actually matches the bedding perfectly. I will post a picture as soon as I am able! Our computer is currently unable to upload pictures, so that is why I haven't posted any. But I will find a way!
