10 Weeks

Maddox hit 10 weeks on Tuesday. This past week he has really discovered his hands. He has began reaching towards things (not grabbing yet, just reaching towards), and loves putting his fist in his mouth, especially at nap/bed time. I have been substituting a pacifier for his fingers when he goes to sleep, I think breaking a pacifier habit will be easier than a thumb sucking habit! This past week he has also began trying to sit up when he is in a reclined position. Obviously he won't be able to sit up on his own for several months, but he is very eager to be in an upright position. Because of this, we have began using his Bumbo (a seat for babies). We only use it in small increments so far, but he seems to like it.
