He had his first doctor's visit yesterday. Everything looks good. He now weighs 9lbs 3oz. He started at 8lbs 14 oz, and went down to 8lbs 11oz while at the hospital. The doctor was pretty impressed with his weight gain. I guess the breast feeding is going pretty well!
They drew his blood to check his bilirubin level (he had a mild case of jaundice) and it has gone down significantly (from 7.9 to 4.5). She also said he looked nice and pink, so that is no longer a concern.
Maddox has been doing really well with sleeping. He will sleep in 4-5 hour stretches early on in the night, then wake up every 2-3 hours after that. All he does during his wakeful hours is eat. You would think he was starving by the sheer amounts he consumes. He is going to one chubby kiddo.

He likes to smile in his sleep. Too cute.
