It's Friday

Maybe some of you who are reading this don't have much of a faith. Or maybe you have had at one time, but have fallen away. Maybe you are living in a "Friday" right now.  The world is full of ugliness. Imperfect people make mistakes, are selfish, prideful, and vile, and the people of the world suffer because of it. We are all living in "Friday".

Sometimes its easier to focus on the world. By getting caught up in day to day living, by focusing only on possessions and wealth, or by focusing only on the pettiness, hate, violence, promiscuity, greed, and poverty in the world to the point that you no longer value the good in it.

But there is more to this life than any of that. We are loved, unconditionally, by a good and merciful God. Who knows us better than we know ourselves. Who knows the number of hairs on our heads and who knows the number of our days on this earth. A God who desires to have relationship with us, who is jealous for our attention, who wants to pour his blessings on us, we have only to ask.

If you don't know God, or if your Faith is wavering, I challenge you to give Him a chance to heal your heart and bring you into His presence. All you have to do, is pray. Ask Him three things: Do I belong to you? How do you feel about me? Is there anything else you want me to know? And then give him a chance to answer.

He is there. He is listening. He will answer. And I pray that you will find your "Sunday" in Him.
